Drapers Footwear Awards 2022

The footwear industry, and the entire fashion retail landscape, is emerging from one of the most challenging times in history. Join us in celebrating the resilience of footwear brands and retailers at the Drapers Footwear Awards on 23 June 2022.

It is time to celebrate the resilience of the footwear industry, and we are honoured to have once again hosted the Drapers Footwear Awards.

Brands, retailers and suppliers have been battling the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and are emerging triumphant after over two years of disruption to all aspects of business – from supply chains to pandemic store closures.

We continue to celebrate store staff with our Shop Member of the Year category. They are most often the first face of a brand, and stepped up during the pandemic to serve customers while navigating new safety measures.

We also continue to champion independent retailers. Judges said these were the most “emotional” categories to select a winner from so many hard-working small businesses.

Drapers and our panel of independent judges also have our eye on the next generation of innovators: the Student Footwear Designer of the Year category shows just how high the standard is among budding talent.

Please join us in celebrating this year’s winners. And thank you to our judges for their valuable time, our sponsors, Birkenstock, Skechers, Laybuy and Moda at Autumn Fair, our charity partner, Footwear Friends, and the British Footwear Association for their continued support.
