Video: Changemakers 2022 – inside three Drapers award-winning businesses

In celebration of the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards 2022 – in partnership with Isko – this short film takes you behind the scenes of three innovative fashion businesses that are leading the way in sustainability, featuring Nanushka, Raeburn and resale platform Thrift+.

For Changemakers 2022, Drapers have created a short film to celebrate some of the brands and businesses making a difference across the fashion and retail industry.

As part of the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards 2022, in partnership with Isko, Changemakers takes you inside three of this year’s most innovative, award-winning businesses.

Judged by an independent panel of experts, the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards once again shine a spotlight on best practice within our industry.

This year’s winners are leading the way in sustainability, accelerating transformation through collaboration, circularity and transparency.

Watch the video to learn how Nanushka, the winner of the Drapers Sustainable Fashion award for Brand of the Year (over £10 million pounds turnover), is placing sustainability at the core of its successful international business, via honest and insightful interviews with its founder and creative director Sandra Sandor, and its CEO Peter Baldaszti.

Discover how the winner of this year’s Recommerce Award, Thrift+, is remaining ahead of the game in terms of powering take back and resale services for the fashion industry with its innovative founder Joe Metcalfe.

And lastly, discover how pioneering brand Raeburn’s Remade, Reduced and Recycled strategy has bagged it not one, but two awards this year – one for Brand of the Year (under £10 million pounds turnover) and one for Sustainable Store Design – via interviews with its founder, Christopher Raeburn, and its head of retail, Jolyon Bexon.
